TCC founder Bishop Robert Culp remembers March on Washington at MLK Day event at TMA
FRIDAY, January 12, 2024–Bishop Robert A. Culp, senior advisor, counselor, and retired pastor of Toledo’s First Church of God, will headline Martin Luther King Jr. Day events at a special day-long program at the Toledo Museum of Art on Monday, January 15.
Bishop Culp, a founder of the Toledo Community Coalition and an anti-racism crusader, will talk about his trek to the historic 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom and his meeting with Dr. King with WTVG-13 news reporter Alexis Means at noon Monday in the museum’s Little Theater.
A former head of the Toledo chapter of the NAACP, Reverend Culp has devoted his life to seeking racial justice and civil rights and ending poverty and suffering in Toledo poor and minority communities.
The program is free and open to the public.
