National Voter Registration Day of Action

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2023–The Ohio Unity Coalition will hold a National Voter Registration Day of Action on Tuesday, September 26 to help people confirm their voter registration or to register to vote.
The deadline to register to vote for the November 7, 2023 general election is October 10.
How To Take Action?
Go to OHIOUNITY.ORG for all the information you need, or you can go to REGISTRATIONREADINESS.OHIOSOS.GOV/ to make sure you have not been purged from voter roles. Republican lawmakers have pushed to remove thousands of Ohioans from voter registration lists in the past few years. They say it’s important to cleanup voter roles. Democratic lawmakers say Republicans want to disenfranchise as many poor people and people of color as possible to lock in the GOP supermajority in the Ohio Legislature.
If you find your name has been removed from voter roles go to HTTPS://OLVR.OHIOSOS.GOV/IDENTIFICATIONINFORMATION to reactivate your right to vote.
The last thing you need to do is get five friends or family members to also check to make sure they are registered to vote.
