Safety Fair in Toledo Set For Aug. 27
FRIDAY, Aug. 5, 2022 — Lucas County Children Services will hold a safety fair for families in Lucas County focusing on violence prevention, gun safety, lead safety, fire safety, and water safety. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 711 Adams St., at the Lucas County Training Center, and its adjacent parking lot.

There will be fun activities for children and the chance to win a home safety kit worth $100. There will also be a professional 3-hour training program, with a certificate, on car-seat safety and recognizing drug abuse.
